RSS* is an XML application that allows us to publish content that can be read in downloadable RSS news readers or Web-based news readers such as Yahoo's "My Yahoo!" The Firefox and Opera browsers also support RSS. Once you have a news reader, or directly from "My Yahoo!" you simply click on an orange "XML" button to subscribe. Once subscribed, as content is published, you will see a headline and short summary of a travel special or news. If interested in learning more, clicking on the summary will bring you to the full story. * Commonly known as "Really Simple Syndication", RSS actually stands for "RDF Site Summary", but the former definition probably conveys more meaning for most people. :) |
